Digital Signature Certificates (DSC) are the digital equivalent (i.e. electronic format) of physical or paper certificates. DSC serves as a proof of identity, to access information or services or to sign certain documents digitally.
Steps for obtaining a DIGITAL SIGNATURE CERTIFICATE (DSC):
- Any Company wishing to obtain DSC for its Directors or Company Secretary or any authorized personnel, is required to send a confirmatory email to: dsc@linkintime.co.in, indicating the number of DSCs required and the amount payable for each such certificate application.
- Upon receipt of the above email, we shall send you a ‘THE DSC KIT’ for each such application consisting of the following:
- USB token (e-Token),
- a CD containing USB Drivers
- a User Manual
- Invoice for the total number of DSCs applied.
- Upon receipt of this Kit, the applicant (Directors or Company Secretary or any authorized personnel) desirous of obtaining a DSC for the purpose of MCA-21 e-filing, should click onto the sub-tab ‘Digital Signature Enrolment’.
- Upon clicking onto ‘Digital Signature Enrolment’, the screen shall open the ‘Digital Certificate Registration Centre’ of our website. [You may please view Demo available onto ‘Digital Signature Enrolment’ tab for the steps to be followed thereafter].
SYSTEM REQUREMENTS TO USE THIS APPLICATION:
- Verify the System requirements viz.: Windows NT, 2000 or XP,7 and Internet Explorer 6.0 or above.
- Set the Browser Settings – ‘Security’ to ‘Medium’ level.
- Using the CD provided with the DSC Kit, download and install the ‘Driver for Aladdin e-Token’ on your machine.
- Insert the USB e-Token (supplied in the DSC Kit) in one of the USB ports of your machine to commence access.

The Ministry of Company Affairs, Government of India, through its new e-initiative MCA-21, mandated that all filing of Forms and Returns to the Registrar of Companies (ROC), like Annual Returns etc., have to be carried out electronically through its website: www.mca.gov.in
